I have three tattoos. I’ve gotten them all in the past two years, and they all have special meaning for me. I had my most recent tattoo done over the summer, and it is dedicated to my love of sewing and creating.
I go to Art Machine Productions in Philadelphia. When I saw artist Jenny Arcus would be guesting at the studio for two weeks, I knew I had to make an appointment with her. I was just in love with her detailed and colorful style. I had been wanting a sewing tattoo on my upper arm for a long time, and I knew she would create something wonderful. She came up with an incredible design that took the real stork/stork scissors idea I had and made it beautiful.
She did the entire thing in one day. It was quite an experience. I doubt I will ever put myself through that again, but I love my new tattoo. It was worth it!
